NOLA Goes PINK 2019
Another great way to help in the fight against breast cancer!
These participating NOLA Goes PINK businesses donated a percentage of proceeds to Susan G. Komen® New Orleans
during the month of October.
We greatly appreciate the support of the following local
NOLA Goes PINK businesses:
Susan G. Komen® is the world’s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit while providing real-time help to those facing the disease. Komen was founded by Nancy G. Brinker, who promised her sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would end the disease that claimed Suzy’s life. Komen New Orleans is working to better the lives of those facing breast cancer in the Greater New Orleans area. Through events like the Komen New Orleans Race for the Cure® , Komen New Orleans has invested over $6.4 million in community breast health programs in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, Washington, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. John the Baptist and St. Charles parishes and has helped contribute to the more than $920 million invested globally in research.
